The GANEX technical group is established within INCD – INSEMEX Petroşani as a service for attesting compliance with the requirements of the NEx Norm 01-06/2007 for technical installations in areas with explosion hazard.

This norm aims to establish the requirements for ensuring the best conditions in the performance of the work process, protecting the life, physical integrity and health of workers and other participants in the work process and establishes the general provisions for the design, installation, operation, maintenance and repair activities of technical installations that operate in potentially explosive atmospheres generated by gases, vapors, mists and/or combustible dusts.

This norm applies to all technical installations intended to be used in potentially explosive atmospheres, in the design, construction, operation and maintenance phases.

When putting into operation a technical installation that operates in a potentially explosive atmosphere, a verification of the technical documentation and an “in situ” examination of the technical installation regarding explosion prevention must be carried out by the National Research and Development Institute for Mining Safety and Anti-Explosive Protection – INSEMEX Petroşani.
